Do you ever eat dumplings? And do you know what it is?
Most of you will say no! So, even if you don't know what it is, keep reading and you'll eventually know what it is...

Dumplings are cooked balls of dough. It's made with flour, potatoes, bread or matzoh. Occasionally, it's included with meat, fish, or sweets. The extraordinary thing about it , is that it can be cooked in so many different ways. They may be cooked by boiling, baking, steaming, simmering, or(my favorite way) frying. There are so many flavors of dumplings, they may have filling, or there may be other ingredients mixed into the dough, and what's more surprising is that it may be sweet or spicy.

Dumplings don't only exist in so many flavors, it's also exist in so many cuisines all around the world. They are European cuisine, cuisine of the United States, cuisine of the South America, Asian cuisine, and Middle-Eastern cuisine.

Asian cuisine dumplings are my favorite, especially the Chinese and Korean cuisine. There are so many of types of Chinese dumplings.

Jiaozi is the name of one type of the Chinese dumplings. Jiaozi are generally consist of chopped meat and vegetables. Jiaozi are usually boiled or steamed. This dish remains to be a traditional dish eaten on Chinese New Year's Eve, the 5th day of Chinese New Year, and special family reunions.
